ABOUT AUTHOR E. G. Parsons, an English major from Indiana is an award winning freelance writer, poet and artist. She began writing poems and short stories at the age of twelve after reading Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven. Her first book of poetry, Out of Darkness was published in May of 2005. Life's Voyage, a second poetry book has just been released and she has a historical romance, Mystery of Black Rock to be released summer of 2006. She's a member of may writing groups and recently contributed to a book for charity titled In Katrina's Wake.
